THE LEADING VOICE OF CHRISTIAN HIGHER EDUCATION

We represent undergraduate and graduate schools of theology in the United States and Internationally that have a common mission within the kingdom of Jesus. Member schools conduct professional and academic degree programs to educate persons for the practice of ministry and for teaching and research in the theological disciplines. These schools differ from one another in deep and significant ways but, through their membership in IATS, they demonstrate a commitment to shared values about what constitutes good theological education.

• The Inspiration and Authority of the Scriptures
• The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
• The Creation of the Human Race (Male and Female) in the Image of God
• The Falls of Humanity and Principalities
• The Deity of Christ, His Incarnation, Atoning Death, Resurrection & Ascension to the Throne
• The Gift of Everlasting Life in Heaven, With Christ, for All Who Have Trusted in Him for Salvation.
• The Holy Spirit continually draws believers closer to God, transforms them into the image of Jesus Christ, empowers them for ministry, and distributes spiritual gifts to the Church. We believe all the gifts of the body are alive and active today.
• Though it has multitudes of diverse expressions, there is only one Universal Church of Jesus Christ. It consists of all who have a relationship with Jesus Christ. The primary purpose of the Church is to use every possible means to advance the Kingdom of God against the principalities and rulers of darkness. We believe in the commissioning of shepherds as “ALL-IN” disciples commissioned to their neighbor and unto the ends of the earth until the coming of Jesus Christ and the Consummation of All Things in a recreated heaven and earth.
